Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Insurance: What Do I Really Need?

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a superpower. When sparring, BJJ fighters combine wrestling moves with aspects of boxing and multiple martial arts, specifically Jiu Jitsu, a Japanese martial art that historically focuses on “small circles”, using leverage with an opponent’s joints or extremities to gain an advantage and take control or take them down. BJJ goes a step further by moving toward grappling, and striking with joint, arm, leg and neck locking positions that ultimately result in a tap out, or submission, by one of the combatants. The ultimate takedown in BJJ can be applied with a rear naked choke. A hold that if not defended against, will put your opponent to sleep. As a BJJ instructor you need insurance... etc...
